why children stay in it

a room they ask to go into.

A playpen is something a child tries to get out of. Arc is the opposite.

Most things made for this job keep a child in one place, and stop working the moment the child would rather be somewhere else. We designed for the child first: somewhere of their own, in a home full of adult sized things. A door they walk through, soft walls to lean on, mesh to see out of. Held, not shut in.

Can I get my S$50 back?
Yes, in full, at any time before delivery. Email hello@maisonmayhem.com and we refund it to your original payment method.
When does it arrive?
In Singapore by the end of November 2026, with free delivery. We confirm your delivery date by email. If we cannot make it, we tell you the new date and you can take your deposit back.
Can I see it first?
Yes. Arc is at the Mummys Market Baby Fair, 2 to 4 October, Singapore Expo Hall 5, booth G46. Come and have a look inside, and reserve one at the booth if you like it.
Will it fit, and where does it go when it's away?
Open, Arc is 160 × 140 × 150 cm, a smaller footprint than a Tumble playmat and sized for HDB flats and condos: the living room, a bedroom or a shaded balcony. The built-in electric pump draws the air out in minutes, and it folds down to 40 × 35 × 20 cm and 7 kg, small enough for a cupboard or the car boot.
Does it get hot inside?
The walls and roof are mesh rather than solid fabric, so the air passes straight through instead of sitting inside. That was the point of the design, for the climate it was made in.
What age is it for, and can two go in together?
From 12 months, with no upper age. Up to two children at a time, for awake play with an adult in the room.
Can I leave them in it?
No. Arc is for awake play with an adult in the room. The mesh lets you see in from across the room, but it is not a place to leave a child on their own.
Can they sleep in it?
No. Arc is not a cot, a travel bed or a sleep space, and it has not been made or tested for sleep. If a child gets drowsy inside, move them to a proper sleep surface.
